5. HOW CAN YOU USE THIS FEATURE?
MASS RECORDINGS OF STUDENT VIDEOS
Students can be granted video recording privilege so that they can log
in and record presentation videos by themselves, even on their own
devices. Students can then do the access control themselves
(customizable rules per department, course, & group)
Or multiple videos can be recorded back-to-back by an admin user into
one account then the admin user does the access control
Metadata are tagged automatically, and the videos can immediately
be made visible to the instructors for evaluation
The annotations and discussion threading features in CLAS can be
used for in-depth evaluation, for peer review, or for self-reflection
6. HOW CAN YOU USE THIS FEATURE?
FLIPPED CLASSROOM
Never miss an opportunity to create learning content. Interesting
insights, natural phenomena, experiment setups, or lectures can be
captured anywhere, by almost any device available on hand
The resulting material can immediately be assigned to your class (or
group, or individual student) for viewing
Students can then engage in discussion or simply take private notes
for their own study
Recording in series. Title and description is remembered between
recordings, and an automatic part number is added. Ideal for breaking
up big topics into many bitesized videos.
