Knowledge Management Officer
Recruited to international workforce development for the Foras Project in Iraq. The Foras Project in Iraq is a 48
million dollar USAID-funded project managed by FHI 360. It is an economic growth program with the goal of
improving economic opportunities for Iraqis with special emphasis on youth, women and vulnerable populations,
such as Iraqis with disabilities and Internally Displaced People (IDP).
Key Contributions:
- Directed a team of three to nine in the execution and delivery of organizational mission goals.
- Management and development oversight and delivery of TOT training in employability skills training:
cv/resume writing, interview skills, job search skills, job portal training and e-learning training for Iraqi Job
seekers and IDPs. The Foras team exceeded the initial target of training 20,000 Iraqi job seekers to 49,808
trained job seekers overall to date.
- Performed technical evaluation for award of 500 thousand dollar project contract for ten Centers of
Opportunity (COO) in northern, central and southern Iraq provinces. Proficient technical supervision over
project through weekly meetings with sub-contractors, technical monitoring and evaluation, event report
writings, scheduling, and verification of SOW deliverables and invoices for payment with a target to train
24,000 jobseekers.
- Performed technical evaluation for award of 488 thousand dollar project contract for Training of Trainers
(TOT). Proficient technical supervision over project through meetings with subcontractor, technical monitoring
and evaluation training event report writings, scheduling and verification of SOW deliverables and invoices for
payment.
- Appraised training curriculum and implemented technical oversight of Kurdish translation of curriculum for
750 thousand dollar project contract for Empowering Vulnerable Iraqis through Entrepreneurship (EVIE)
training.
- Delivered employability skills TOT to trainers for NGOs, Iraq university career centers, IDP camp mobile
teams, Iraq government agencies and private sector businesses through contract or memorandum of
understanding (MOU).
- Implemented and managed translation project of English to Kurdish language translation of organizational
documents, training curriculum, skill assessments, job descriptions, and MOOC diploma courses in Food and
Safety, Customer Service, Human Resources and Tourism. These first-ever Kurdish online e-Learning courses
will assist the development of the local workforce in Northern Iraq, Kurdistan Region Government.

- Facilitated development of Cihan University career center through MOU coordination and providing TOT
training for staff and employability skills training for students.

- United States Air Force Reserve Education and Training Programs management for Numbered Air Force of
17 Direct Reporting Units, serving a diverse workforce of 32000 members.

workforce at the --- Apprentice, Journeyman and Craftsman skill levels.

the 17 Direct Reporting Units identifying root cause of deficiencies and recommended corrective actions for
process improvement in their training programs.
