MESSAGE FROM THE
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious and the Most Merciful.
All praises only for Allah swt, the Lord of this world and the Knower of all
things and whose guidance we constantly seek. May the peace and blessings of Allah swt
be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad Saw, his family and his companions
Alhamdulillah, IISKD Ikhtifal day is here for parents and teachers to witness some of
the fruits of our labour. InshaAllah, the efforts, time, sacrifices that everyone in the
school undertakes to nurture our children to become muttaqin following the ways of our
beloved prophet Muhammad Saw will be evaluated by Allah as ibadah for Him alone. We
pray that the children of IISKD will serve as a beacon of faith and a shining example in
their Islamic practices for the community they live within and will InshaAllah actively
contribute to Islam for the success of the ummah.
From the start, IISKD inshaAllah , focuses on the Quranic Generation development
program (QGDP) because making our younger generations love the Qur'an is of great
importance when trying to raise their religious consciousness. From this point of view,
we should tell and convince the child that the Qur'an is the latest and indisputable
revelation from Allah, with decisive judgments pointing to the farthest limits of science and technology. The following verse confirms this point:
"With Him are the keys of the unseen; only He knows them, and He knows what is on
land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but He knows it; and there is no grain in the dark
bowels of the earth, nor anything green or dry, but is (recorded) in a Clear
Book." (6/59)
All the programs and events organised by the school is important to equip the individual
with a balanced wholesome personality with capabilities that will ensure they are resilient and steadfast to hold on to Islam at all times. We believed in nurturing our children from very young because when the mind, body and heart work together in joy and
harmony, insyaAllah learning, playing and living become great pleasures to our children.
Hence to become the Muttaqin that Allah is pleased with becomes easy and fun.
May Allah swt continue to shower the family of IISKD with His blessings and mercies
and accept all our efforts as ibadah, sincerely and joyfully only for Him. Ameen.

Dearest parents, staff, family and friends,
Assalaamualaikum wa rahmatAllahi wa barakatuh,
Verily all praises are due to Allah, we praise Him and seek His assistance and seek His
forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Him from the evil of ourselves and from the evil of our
actions, whomsoever Allah guides there is no misguiding him, and whomsoever He misguides there is no guiding him, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone,
without partner, and bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger (sallAllahu
‘alaihi wassalaam)
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to the 10th annual IISKD Ihtfifal Day!
Today is a day we celebrate and acknowledge the accomplishments of the students of
IISKD. It is a day that we congratulate our students for their performance and accomplishments in this school. However, we must also not forget to motivate our fellow students to
emulate their more succesful peers and strive for the betterment of themselves for the
future. On this auspicious day too, IISKD has illustrated in part the commitment all of us
here at IISKD in providing to our precious students with not only an holistic education system that will prepare them for success in this life but inshaAllah in the life hereafter as well.
We would also like to emphasize the importance of parent-students-teacher partnership in
the development of our ummah. A concerted effort and trust in Allah the Almighty by both
parents and teachers is crucial to our students’ holistic development. It is my sincere hope
that we can continue to work collectively in ensuring that our students are given the support they need to flourish spiritually as well as academically. We recognise and deeply
value the great responsibility that has been entrusted to us by the parents of our students
in ensuring that their children are equipped with the knowledge and skills required in order
to excel in these dynamic times. It is our sincere belief that the future success of our ummah relies heavily upon the capability of our younger generations to lead us. We would
like to express to all of you the highest appreciation for the confidence of allowing us to
contribute to that success.
As the Board of Governor, I want to assure all of you that we have been and will continue
to do everything within our means to provide our students with the best holistic education.

We praise Allah SWT for giving us another opportunity to appreciate

SWT for this amanah.
Parents of IISKD have then entrusted the education of their children to
the teachers, the muallim, the murabbi, and the muaddib to nurture
their body, their mind, and their soul. And indeed it is a very huge and
big responsibility to be carried alone by the teachers.
Therefore, the mutual understanding and togetherness between

required. Let us be reminded by one of the ayats in the Quran saying:
“Truly Allah loves those who fight in His cause in battle array,
as if they were a solid cemented structure”.

I sincerely pray to Allah (S.W.T) for IISKD students, parents and teachers to have a wonderful 2013 school year. Here we are about to embark
into the end of school year period, yet into a new learning journey. We
are more than certain that with the help of Allah (SWT) and the parents’
continuous support; we will be able to take our school to the higher
level. At our end, trust us, we shall continue working with all parents for
the best interests of our beloved children and our community at large.
The theme “Empowering Holistic Development through Effective Partnership” was set to gear the school and parents to be committed to motivate and empower our students to be life-long learners, critical thinkers,
and productive Muslim. I believe that in order for education to be most
effective and beneficial it requires a joint concerted effort and collaboration between school staff, parents, students and the community. The
home is a child’s primary environment of learning and Islamic character
development. It is my sincere hope that all of us, parents, teachers, and
staff will continuously work together to foster in our students an eagerness for learning and an appreciation for quality Islamic education.
Finally I have full trust of the team together with the parents of IISKD to
become partners with sole objective to ensure the children to become
