Pujya, Sahaj didi and Sarvjeet didi.
Respected principal sir, dear colleagues and students.
Good morning and jay swami Narayan to one and all present here.
As we all know, today is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan,
celebrated as Teachers’ day all over the India. Since, 1962, India has been
celebrating Teachers’ day on 5th September as a symbol of tribute and honor to the
contributions made by teachers to the society and country.
Actually, teachers are the personalities who should be ever respected.
But, teachers’ day is the special occasionrather I would say it is an opportunity for
all of us to respect our teachers for their precious efforts in shaping the character
and future of the students.
We celebrate 5th September as Teachers’ day to honor Dr. Sarvepalli Radha
Krishnan, who was the great teacher of his time and also the great academic
philosopher and president of India. Once students asked him to give permission
for celebrating his birthday, he requested them to observehis birth day as Teachers’
day which shows his love for teachers and teaching profession.
In honor of Dr. SarvepalliR.K I have written few lines, please concentrate…
If all the trees of the world were one, what a great tree it would be..
If all the rivers of the world were one, what a great river it would be..
If all the citizens of the country respect Dr. Radha Krishnan, what a great
teacher he would be..”
2. Dear students,
1. Parents give birth to child where as teachers shape his or her character and
make their future bright and successful.
2. They are the source of knowledge, source of inspiration which help you to
go ahead and get success.
3. They are the backbone ofanysociety becausethey highly contribute in nation
building, character building and helping us to be an ideal citizen of the
country.
4. The growth and development of people of any country largely depend on
the quality of teachers and quality of education given by them.
5. You pick up any successfulpersonfrom the society may and ask him name of
a person behind his or her success. I am sure, definitely you will get name of
one person and that person is no one but their teacher.
On this auspicious day I would also like to address my colleagues.
Respected teachers,
1. Our school has been performing excellent in all aspects of education and
overall personality development of children. This credit goes to all ofyou who
have been working relentlessly.
2. We are the role model of our children. Students learn many things by
observing our behavior. So, we have great responsibility on our soldiers of
maintaining and demonstrating highest ethical values and character apart from
just imparting subject knowledge.
3. Hence, I urge all the teachers and other personnel connected with this noble
profession to rededicate for the cause of all round development of children.
I would conclude my speech, with one small request to students of SVM.
“Dear students if you cannot become Eklavya to your Dronacharya,,, no
problem but please at least try to be Arjuna.”
