It gives us immense pleasure to unleash the new
edition of our school magazine. The reflection of the
student's creativity is the essence of the magazine.
Students have put forth their ideas and thoughts that
are too deep to be expressed and too strong to be
suppressed.
This magazine is before you due to the combined
efforts of the Editorial Board. We take the
opportunity to thank all the budding writers as their
contribution is the reason that makes this magazine
endearing with our readers.
This herculean task of editing this school magazine
would not have been possible without the sincere
support of the members of the Editorial Board who
sorted the articles from the flood of articles that we
received from our enthusiastic and inquisitive young
writers, edited them and finally made a fair draft of
them.
We are thankful to all our colleagues who dipped
their oars into the turbulent water of the journals
and have sailed it to the shore of publication. We are
really thankful to our respected Chairman for
entrusting us with the responsibility of publishing this
edition. We heartily wish all the readers our best
wishes and hope this edition will earn your critical
acclaim and prove itself to play a vital role in
nurturing the creative dents of the children.
The magazine also espouses the school spirit which
is built up within the school through the collective
actions, thoughts and aspirations. All these, we
believe would spur higher growth and enterprise in
children.

About Padmawati Sr. Sec. School
Padmawati Sr.Sec.School is the outcome of the dream by
Mr. Jagdish Arora, Conceived in March 1996, in providing
good quality education, that would enable a child to excel
in his/her chosen field with the confidence to face the
global challenge without forgetting social responsibilities.
Preseverance, dedication & hard work have seen the
school grow and earn the trust of hundreds of parents to
entrust their children to the care of the school.
Today, after 24 years it stands as a "citadel of learning" and a
harbinger of "Quality Consciousness" committed to
developing the minds & initiative of children. The vitality of
the classrooms, the energy of the playing fields and the
open friendliness of the work environment, have enabled
its students to reach their fullest potential whether it is
securing distinctions in the Board Exam or winning
accolades in drama, debates, quizzes or sporting activities.
Each child is considered as whole person. Padmawati Sr.
Sec. School helps them in developing skills, concepts and
attitudes necessary for the opportunities and
experiences of the future. We aim to prepare children to
reach their full potential as responsible citizens.
To provide the finest quality education that will evolve in step with the changes that take place globally in
the fields of education, science, commerce and arts.To provide educational facilities that rank on par with
those offered in the world's finest educational institutions. To provide an environment conducive to the
development of progressive thinking to set new qualitative standards in education by employing
innovative approaches.
Our Mission
Our Vision
To create a society of progressive & thinking individuals who will contribute to the
intellectual development of the global Community by initiating positive changes in the
social fabric; in the Technology & Administration of our life & business; and in the
approaches employed to realize Individual & collective aspirations.
Writing is a skill which can be learned like any other.Today,
when anyone can be a publisher, we see more and more
examples of poor writing skills both in print and on the web.
Writing skill is an important part of communication. Good
writing skill allows us to communicate our message with
celerity and ease to a larger audience than through face-to-
face or telephone conversations. In order to communicate
effectively,we need to order our words and ideas on the page
in ways that make sense to a reader.
The process of putting ideas into words and arranging them
for a reader helps us to see, create and explore new
connections. One trick for checking and improving our
writing work is to read it aloud.Reading text force us to slow
down and we may pick up problems with the flow that our eye
would otherwise skip over.
As we write,we constantly rewrite. The process of writing and
then reviewing, changing, and rewriting is a natural and
important part of shaping expression for an anticipated
audience.
This school Magazine is a wonderful platform for our young
and budding writers to showcase their talents in writing and
creativity.

As I bask into the grandeur of all the years that
Padmawati Sr. Sec. School has been in existence, what
comes to my mind is that-“Success comes to those who
work hard and stays with those, who don’t rest on the
laurels of the past.” It is very much apparent that we live
today in a world that is so very different from the one we
grew up in, the one we were educated in. Change in
today’s world is riding on accelerated pace and we need
to pause and reflect it on the entire education system.I
firmly believe that students must be taught how to think,
not what to think. That reminds me of the great words of
wisdom of by Aristotle, “Educating the mind without
educating the heart is no education at all.”As we impart
education to match the advancement of technology and
globalization, we march our children ahead with the
ethos of moral and ethical principles. We fortunately
have a committed and supportive management,
dedicated teachers,caring cooporative parents,which
blend harmoniously to create a child-centric school
which I am sure will enable our pupils to think, create
and unfold the magic of ecstatic imaginations.

History echoes to us that those who have
courage to imagine the impossible are the few
unique personalities who broke all human
limitations of thought and action. In every field of
human efforts, whether science, technology,
medicine, arts, sports, industry or even in
developmental politics, the names of the people
who imagined the impossible are engraved
timelessly in human history. By breaking the
limits of their imagination, they transformed the
world. Can we also imagine the same?...
Congratulations to the editorial team who
shaped this magazine and to all those who are
instrumental in bringing out this commendable
piece of work.
Only as high as I reach can I grow
Only as far as I seek can I go,
Only as deep as I look can I see
Only as much as I dream can I be

The glory of sport comes from dedication, determination and desire. Achieving success and personal glory in sports has less to do
with wins and losses than it does with learning how to prepare yourself so that at the end of the day, whether on the track or in the

The quiz was mainly divided in two rounds: first pen paper round, second was the stage round. After qualifying the Pen

Students have put forth their ideas and thoughts that are too deep to be expressed and too strong to be suppressed. This magazine is before you due to the combined efforts of the Editorial Board. We take the opportunity to thank all the budding writers as their contribution is the reason that makes this magazine endearing with our readers. This herculean task of editing this school magazine would not have been possible without the sincere support of the members of the Editorial Board who sorted the articles from the flood of articles that we received from our enthusiastic and inquisitive young writers, edited them and finally made a fair draft of them. We are thankful to all our colleagues who dipped their oars into the turbulent water of the journals and have sailed it to the shore of publication. We are really thankful to our respected Chairman for entrusting us with the responsibility of publishing this edition. We heartily wish all the readers our best wishes and hope this edition will earn your critical acclaim and prove itself to play a vital role in nurturing the creative dents of the children. The magazine also espouses the school spirit which is built up within the school through the collective actions, thoughts and aspirations. • 4. Writing is a skill which can be learned like any other.Today, when anyone can be a publisher, we see more and more examples of poor writing skills both in print and on the web. Writing skill is an important part of communication. Good writing skill allows us to communicate our message with celerity and ease to a larger audience than through face-to- face or telephone conversations. In order to communicate effectively,we need to order our words and ideas on the page in ways that make sense to a reader. The process of putting ideas into words and arranging them for a reader helps us to see, create and explore new connections. One trick for checking and improving our writing work is to read it aloud.Reading text force us to slow down and we may pick up problems with the flow that our eye would otherwise skip over. As we write,we constantly rewrite. The process of writing and then reviewing, changing, and rewriting is a natural and important part of shaping expression for an anticipated audience. This school Magazine is a wonderful platform for our young and budding writers to showcase their talents in writing and creativity. -JagdishArora As I bask into the grandeur of all the years that Padmawati Sr. Sec. School has been in existence, what comes to my mind is that-“Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those, who don’t rest on the laurels of the past.” It is very much apparent that we live today in a world that is so very different from the one we grew up in, the one we were educated in. Change in today’s world is riding on accelerated pace and we need to pause and reflect it on the entire education system.I firmly believe that students must be taught how to think, not what to think. That reminds me of the great words of wisdom of by Aristotle, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”As we impart education to match the advancement of technology and globalization, we march our children ahead with the ethos of moral and ethical principles. We fortunately have a committed and supportive management, dedicated teachers, caring cooporative parents, which blend harmoniously to create a child-centric school which I am sure will enable our pupils to think, create and unfold the magic of ecstatic imaginations. -ParushArora Founder Chairman's Message Chairman's Message
  • 5. It gives me a great pleasure to bring our 24th issue of 'DRISHTI'. It is familiar that we are constantly encouraging the young minds to give a free rein to their imagination and nurture a creative spirit. Our efforts to pair creativity with education enhance the impact of the learning experience and extend our interaction with students and teachers towards deeper learning. Working with and involving kids in the creative process enriches our work and enlivens our creative practice. With strive to ensure that each issue would serve as a voice a platform for our young buds to be heard. Thus enabling a depth of reflection and response in the classroom and beyond. As we began work on this issue,I was struck by how we are influenced by our environment and relationships which is also reflected in the articles featured here. So come,Join us and Enjoy Reading GulshanArora Warm greetings and wishes with pleasure on the release of the annual magazine DRISHTI on completing its 24 years of laudable service in the field of education. • 6. Very few have fully realised the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child .The effort of every educator should be to unlock that treasure and Padmawati Sr.Sec.School is an excellent example where everyone strives indefatigably for this. This institution has been nurturing young minds of the town for the past 24 years with the belief that “ The heart of education is the education of the heart.” We are pleased to present to you ‘DRISHTI’ the School Magazine of our school. Enjoy every moment you have because in life there aren’t rewinds, only flashbacks. For you , our editorial board have worked hard to bring up an exhilarating flashback of the inception of the school, its history and the events and achievements during the session 2019-20. Dr.Mohd.Khalid Principal’s Message History echoes to us that those who have courage to imagine the impossible are the few unique personalities who broke all human limitations of thought and action. In every field of human efforts, whether science, technology, medicine, arts, sports, industry or even in developmental politics, the names of the people who imagined the impossible are engraved timelessly in human history. By breaking the limits of their imagination, they transformed the world. Can we also imagine the same?... Congratulations to the editorial team who shaped this magazine and to all those who are instrumental in bringing out this commendable piece of work. Only as high as I reach can I grow Only as far as I seek can I go, Only as deep as I look can I see Only as much as I dream can I be ParthArora Director's Message
