This picture is a form a low key exposure. This allows the picture to have a dark, gloomy and cold
look. Only certain parts of the picture are highlighted such as the beds and the walls. The camera
angle that the person has chosen is a wide shot to allow the viewer to see a wider range of the
setting in order to see the mise en scene of the picture. The props that are used in this picture are a
bed, child’s cot and rocking chairs to give the feel of a bedroom. The window in the background
allows the picture to have a back light to emphasise certain aspect of the room.
2. This picture shows high key exposure which emphasises the beauty of the park. This park would be a
good setting to film in at night because it would give the park a dark and gloomy effect which would
complement the theme of a thriller. The picture also has trees which give the picture a vibrant
feeling because it has different shades of green to highlight the beauty of the picture. The water also
helps the picture to glisten.
