1. Taking images with different
lighting
I chose to make the subject a drawing mannequin as there is lots of
texture and shape which allows me to control where the light hits the
image.

2. Standard
This photo uses no extra lighting or camera settings
leading to a clear but dull image

3. Low key
Because the light I was using
couldn't change the brightness I
swapped it for a dimmer light (this
is why the light is orange) which
created the darker and moodier
effect

4. High Key
To create this effect, I used a bright key
light making the mannequin appear
much brighter and clearer

5. Backlit
This image was an attempt at backlighting however
due to the lights I was using being on a short power
cord it couldn't get it directly behind, but I managed
to get a similar silhouette effect

6. Shallow focus
This photo uses shallow focus making
the subjects stand out whilst the
background is out of focus and blurred,
I had to get very close with the camera
in order for it to be able to get the
photo as I was struggling to get the
depth of field right

7. Deep focus
This image uses deep focus to make the
foreground out of focus whilst the
background is in clear focus I also did a
second one where both the background and
foreground where in focus

8. Deep focus (2)
The focus on this image lets both the
foreground and background in focus this
allows the deep focus to create a clearer
image

9. Chiaroscuro
I used verry low key light in this image so
that the illuminated side appeared much
brighter and the dark side much darker

10. monochrome
I took this photo using the monochrome setting on
my camera the use of monochrome creates a
moody and dark feeling

11. High Exposure
I used extremely high exposure for
this image to demonstrate the effect
clearly.

12. Low exposure
I couldn't reach a very low exposure on my
camera however I attempted to get a photo with
the lowest setting
