For more than 40 years, Fredman Design Group has been passionate
about creating spaces that are not only unique to each of our clients’
projects, but that embrace their individual tastes. Thoughtful details and
exceptional appointments are the hallmark of our designs, and are
evidenced with each project we collaborate on, in partnership with our
clients. Beauty and functionality are our constants, in everything we do.

In a word, collaborative. Our more than 15 award-winning designers are a
multi-faceted team. Behind each project, is a group of dedicated
professionals that balance the strength of each other, and personify
exemplary design. Each designer, paying homage to their past
inspirationals, is able to bring, not only a unique perspective, but balance
and harmony to each project by embracing the diversity of their
perspective. It has been in this spirit of collaboration, that we’ve been
able to produce award-winning solutions for a range of residential clients.

Stone’s Throw Builders, the architectural and building
division of Fredman Design Group, has been
designing and constructing quality custom homes and
remodels for more than twenty-five years in the
Harbor Country region of Southwestern Michigan. A
surge of interest in sustainable living has increased
demand for custom container homes in Illinois,
Wisconsin and Indiana as well. We appreciate our
clients, and the opportunity to build custom homes for
them across the Midwest.
The award-winning team of expert architects,
designers and builders is changing the Midwestern
building game by using durable, customizable and
efficient shipping containers in conjunction with
traditional stick-framing methods to create
one-of-a-kind, luxury retreat homes. Stone’s Throw
Builders works collaboratively with clients to ensure
their homes exceed every expectation.
