8. An electromechanical relay contains an electromagnetic coil (right side of image) that
moves a metal arm to make and break an electrical connection.
Electromechanical relays can be used to switch high current and also AC devices.

The terminals of the conductive path are electrically isolated from
the sensor leads
The ACS712 outputs an analog voltage output signal that varies
linearly with sensed current.
