LAYER OF CONJUNCTIVA • EPITHELIAM :- THE EPITHELIAM LAYER CONTAIN BLOOD VASSEL FIBROUS TISSUE AND LYPHATIC CHANELS • ADNENOID LAYER • ALSO CALLED LYMPOID LAYER • NOT PRESENT AT BIRTH DEVELOPS LYMPHOCYTES AFTER 2-3 MONTH OF LIFE • CONSISTS OF FINE CONECTIVE TISSUE RECTCULAM IN THE MESHWORKS OF WHICH LIES. • FIBROUS LAYER • HAS CALLAGENOUS FIBRES + ELASTIC FIBRE • THICKNESS THAN ANDENID LAYER EXCEPT IN THE TARSAL CONJECUNCTION. • LODGES THE CONJUNCTICAL VASSEL AND NERVES
