Traditionally, digital means, the use of
numbers or digits, synonymous with
computers, original. They mean perfect
coping when information, music, voice
and video are turned into binary digital
form, they can be electronically
manipulated, preserved and regenerated
perfect at high speed.
• The digital library is an electronic library where the
information is acquired stored and retrieved in digital form. A
modern digital library is a media server connected to high speed
networks.
• E-learning terms imply that the learner is at a distance from
the tutor or instructor, that the learner uses some form of
technology.
• In the e-learning environment, digital libraries are considered
