- 3. What is Brick in civil engineering? Brick is a construction material in civil engineering. Brick is used to making walls, pavement, and brick structures, or for the partition of a room,
- 4. Silica 50 % to 60% Silica prevents raw bricks from cracking, shrinking and warping. The higher the proportion of sand, the more and shapely and uniform in texture will be the brick. 20% to 30% Alumina Alumina imparts plasticity to the earth, so that it can be moulded.
