This webinar covered the Depression Care Collaborative in East Texas. It discussed the 12 counties and over 370,000 residents covered in the rural area that is larger than 5 states. It introduced the clinical team and locations of services including the main clinics in Angelina, Polk, and Nacogdoches counties. The intake process and 3 case studies were presented, showing PHQ-9 scores over time for clients with major depressive disorder, chronic pain, and substance abuse issues. Discussion points included likes, challenges and takeaways from the cases. Upcoming events in December 2015 and January 2016 were also noted.
