 Aims to conduct information management in the best
possible manner by utilizing advanced data processing
technologies and to meet the IT needs of all other
departments.
 The goal is to use technology correctly and efficiently.
 Qualification: BE(IT), B.Tech, B.Sc. IT
FINANCE
 Finance department plays an important role in growth
and achievement of business goals.
 Main divisions: Collection and client credit, payments,
accounting, production costs, financial process
development, reporting and budgeting.
 Qualification: CA, CFA, ICWA, M. Com, Ph.D, MBA in
Financial Management.
HUMAN RESOURCES
 The HR department focuses on such issues as planning
the HR within the companies.
 Hiring, development, compensation, measurement and
management of its performance, planning of careers,
steady improvement of training, development and work
conditions.
 Qualification: B.com , MBA in HR, M.A & B.A (HR)
MEDICAL DEPARTMENT
 Medical departments handle the coordination of clinical
studies, procedures involving the Ministry of Health,
registration and pricing activities, reporting of product
effect notifications, monitoring of drug safety as well as
handling relations within the medical world and
scientific studies.
 Medical departments are also responsible for providing
basic medical and product training to field workers of
pharmaceutical companies.
 Medical departments are responsible for ensuring that
promotional activities are carried out in compliance with the
Regulations of the Ministry of Health.
 Qualification: B.Pharma, M.Pharma
SALES
 The goal of sales departments is to provide information
to physicians and pharmacists who inform and guide
patients and families of patients.
 The information is regarding to drugs and patients in an
accurate and scientifically-based manner.
 They are responsible to share information regarding
drugs and treatments based upon scientific research
with physicians and pharmacists.
 Qualification: B.com, BMS, MBA in sales and Marketing,
Diploma or PGDM in sales and Marketing and
management.
MARKETING
 The goal of marketing departments is to promote new
products and treatments.
 To present updated information and to raise public
awareness regarding health issues.
 Qualification: B.com, BMS, MBA in sales and Marketing,
Diploma or PGDM in sales and Marketing and
management.
CORPORATE STRATEGY AND BUSINESS
DEVELOPMENT
 Departments of Corporate Strategy and Business
Development assist in the strategic planning of their
institution for the short-, intermediate- and long-term,
in the identification of business goals, evaluation of
performance and evaluation of new business areas.
 Qualification: B.com, BMS, Diploma or PGDM in
international business strategy, Diploma in BA, MBA
in Strategic Management .
TECHNICAL
 The Technical Department is responsible for ensuring
that all equipments, tools and machinery within the
R&D, plant and corporate department functions
accurately and efficiently.
 Qualification: Btech, BEng/BE, M.tech.
OPERATIONS
 The Operations department produces a salable amount
of a drug.
 Once a drug has passed the clinical trials, the
manufacturing and production department manufacture
the final product, along with the packaging and labeling.
 Environmental health and safety function, which
assesses the environmental impact of a potential
product.
 Qualification: Diploma or PGDM ,MBA in operation
management
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
 This department is responsible for coordinating the
functions of all departments and also ensures smooth
and efficient functioning.
 The Project management department also monitors
particular projects.
 Qualification: Diploma or PGDM, MBA in project
management.
