◦ Obstruction阻塞 ：the tongue/ foreign object blocked casualty’s airway
◦ Suffocation 缺氧：pillow, plastic bag
◦ Fluids, gas or smoke in the air passages气道
◦ Compression of the windpipe气管
◦ Compression of the chest
◦ Continuous fit 癫痫

4. The sign and symptoms of asphyxia
◦Rapid and noisy breathing 呼吸带杂音
◦Red and puffy face
◦Difficulty in speaking***

5. Management of asphyxia
◦ Remove the casualty from the cause
◦ Open airway and adequate air充足的氧气
◦ No breathing, start CPR
◦ WHEN BREATHING RESTORED恢复呼吸, place in recovery
