pain develops
4. Sign and symptoms
• Pain chest, spreading to shoulder to arm,elvbow and in some cases
even fingers
• Lips may blue
• Short breath
• Nausea作呕
• Pain decrease when physical when nitroglycerin/GTN taken
5. How to manage
• Place casualty in a resting position in which hearts works most
effectively.

• Help casualty to sit and support his back and place padding his knees
• Advice him to rest
• Ask him if he have GTN/Nitroglycerin
7. Heart attack
• Sign and symptoms
• Sudden crushing pain in the chest .may spread to arm,elbow
• Fast pulse ,which may become weaker and irregular
• Unconsciousness may develop
Management
• In half sitting position with knee bent
• Don’t move him unnecessarily
• Check breathing rate and pulse rat-----every 10 min
12. Major epilepsy
• Sudden loss of consciousness
Management
• Support falling casualty
• Clear space round
• Do not put anything in casualty mouth
13. Diabetic emergency血糖症
• Too much or too less sugar in the blood
• Lack of Insulin or too much insulin
Too much sugar : diabetic coma
Too much insulin : insulin shock
14. Hyperglycemia高血糖
• Has not taken her insulin
• Overeaten
Symptoms
• Dry mouth and complain of thirst
• Abdominal pain
• Breath smell of acetone果香甜
• Weak ,rapid pulse
Management :send to hospital
15. Hypoglycemia低血糖
Causes:
• Taken too much insulin
Sign:
• Pulse rapid and full
• Breathiing become shallow and odourless
Manage:
• Give sweet drink,chocolate
• Send to hospital
16. Stroke中风
Causes: management:
• Cerebral thrombosis动脉阻塞 1.maintain open airway
• Cerebral haemorrhage脑出血 2.move to hospital
