• To measure employee engagement level in EMIL
• To identify the role and impact of organizational culture in
driving employee engagement.
• To identify role and impact of organizational communication in
driving employee engagement.
6. Sampling Methodology
SAMPLE SIZE: questionnaire was distributed to 50 respondents
(selected middle and junior level employees)
SAMPLING AREA: employees working at EMIL.
7. LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
• Conducting survey in (may-june) peak time of summer often
becomes difficult.
• Time availability and interest of respondent in filling form.
• Project has inherent limitations due to its potential scope.
8. FINDINGS
• Employers cannot expect employees to go the extra mile unless
they demonstrate that they are truly valued.
• A key finding of research is that Engagement is mainly driven by
the extent to which employees feel they are valued by and
involved within their oraganization.
9. SUGGESTIONS
• Encourage knowledge and sharing in a creative way.
• Give and receive feedback.
• Involve employees in your business planning process.
• Try some unusual employee engagement ideas-
sometimes small things makes a great difference.
• Celebrate people (show them they matter)
• Create your own internal magazine.
• Build long term engagement.
