Einstein's theory of relativity consists of two parts: the special theory, dealing with relative motion and the laws of physics for non-accelerating observers, and the general theory, which applies to all observers and incorporates gravity. Its applications, like GPS, require relativistic corrections to provide accurate positioning, highlighting the practical implications of both theories. However, limitations exist, such as challenges in quantizing general relativity and the prediction of space-time singularities.
