school twinning and global volunteer teacher programme.
2006: Participated in the planning and delivery of the training of global teachers in
preparation for their placement in Eastern Cape Schools. Also attended the
Commonwealth Conference and presented a paper on School Partnership in December

2006. The conference preceded the Commonwealth Conference for Education
Ministers held in Cape Town which I also attended.
2010: Participated in International Executive Workshop held in Thailand, New
Zealand and Australia
2014: Participated in the National Conference of State Legislatures held at Minneapolis in
the State of Minnesota, USA from the 18 – 22 August to 2014. I was mainly responsible for
technical and administrative support to the Eastern Cape delegation comprising of
Parliamentarians such as Deputy Speaker, Chair of Chairs, Chief Whip and Opposition
