Work Experience
Lockheed Martin, Owego, NY June 2015 - July 2016
Software Engineer II
• White-Box tested reusable mission computer code for DO-178B Level A standard MCDC coverage, using
VectorCAST tool.
• Used TestStand and a proprietary GUI-based test application to test, troubleshoot and determine the
functional status of a host Single Board Computer (SBC).
• Developed reusable platform specific driver components and string tests for a mission computer.
• Integrated open source drivers for a proprietary graphics card with a Linux-Yocto embedded operating
system. Developed, and configured an OS bootable image using Yocto's OS development kit.
• Calculated scale ratios and failure rates for control circuit components using Excel and schematics.
• Adapted Doxygen, and documented user guides and software design descriptions for board support
packages, on-board diagnostic test libraries, and a board initialization/configuration item.
DCR System House Workforce at Lockheed Martin, Owego, NY February-May 2015
Temporary Contract Software Engineer
• Collaborated in developing boot-loader and hardware initialization software for an Intel-powered SBC.
Optimized boot-time by saving/reloading past memory training data from NVM.
• Re-factored boot-loader into a more modularized architecture.
Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Rome, NY June-August 2013, June-August 2014
Intern
• Implemented a training algorithm onto a C++ embedded system that allowed a hardware-based neural
network to determine an optimal synaptic architecture for power-efficiency, area- efficiency, and weight-
efficiency.
• Implemented a low power autonomous object-tracking system using Radial Basis Function neural network
hardware and microcontroller embedded with object-oriented C++ algorithm.
Ensco Avionics Inc., Endicott, NY January-March 2014
Associate Engineer
• Collaborated in development of digital/mixed-signal systems, via VHDL, on programmable logic devices
for the Spoiler Control Electronics Unit (SCE) for the BOEING 737-8.
• Developed, synthesized, and simulated firmware modules for 4 Digital Processing Lanes (DPL) used for
hardware-software interfacing. Consisted of Altera, Xilinx, MicroSemi and a fourth custom FPGA.
