PROJECTS
• Design of SDRAM controller to interfacce MT48LC16M4A2 SDRAM memory with 80386SX processor - A
complete controller solution including state machine, row, column and bank signals, data masking, data flow, ready logic
and refresh support. Supported sending auto refresh commands at the rate sufficient to ensure memory integrity and also
support burst length of 4.
• Designed Low frequency signal generator and scalar network analyzer using ARM cortex MF4 Microcontroller –
The goal of the project was to design the system capable of analog signals and generating various waveforms like square
wave, sawtooth and sine wave.Used different protocols like UART and SPI. Also made use of ADC,Timer based
interrupts and EEPROM (save or store) for various functionality of the project. Made use of oscilloscope and logical
analyzer for validation.
• Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) simulation using matlab - Studied and computed an estimate of the
symbol error rate for MIMO system using MATLAB which helped to study the impact of polarization diversity on the
performance of spatial multiplexing without having to resort to time-consuming computer simulations.
• Designed a Preemptive and cooperative RTOS from scratch using ARM cortex M4F microcontroller- Designed an
RTOS from scratch which is capable of running in cooperative and preemptive mode with support of common kernel
function like yield, sleep, wait, post. System timer is used in preemptive mode for context switch. Handled kernels
functions for task switch. Implemented priority inheritance to prevent priority inversion. Handled deadlock condition.
• IR- Based GPS Indoor Localization of a Bot on Tiva C Series TM4C123G cortex M4F- The goal of the project is to
identify the persons location in the room or in a mall with the help of photodetectors and LEDs which is interfaced with
the controller. Implementing select-able instructions using the NEC-Sony-Biphase_Communication Protocol. TSOP IR
detrctor for filtering the inputs and sampling at 1usec interval. Decoding the algorithm in reverse flow and pinpointing
the location using a grid of 3X3 IR led matrix.
• Design a 32-bit RISC Microprocessor with 5-Stage Pipelining- The goal of the project was to design a 5 stage
pipeline microprocessor. Handled interrupts, Data forwording to prevent data hazard and stall or NOPs to prevent
structural hazards.
• Cache Memory Design -The goal of this project was to determine the best architecture for a cache controller, that
interfaces to a 32- bit microprocessor used for signal processing. A program was written in C to check the speed of the
microprocessor with different cahce memory architectures. The largest hit in performance was seen in a function called
jacobi which operates on a 128x128 symmetric matrix of double-precision real floatingpoint numbers.
WORK EXPERIENCE
IT Associate Consultant, ITC INFOTECH INDIA, Bangalore July 2012 – July 2014
Projects:
• MoldMasters :- Canadian based company, worked as implementation consultant. Worked on customization of workflow
and lifecycles. This requires core and advance java knowledge. Designed custom web pages and action buttons using
JSP and HTML.
• Steelcase, NVIDIA, Elliot :- US based companies, worked as migration consultant. Structural query language was used
for transformation, verification and loading of data. Custom utility was written to load CAD related objects, which
required core java knowledge. For Elliot I handled a tem of 3 members and successfully completed phase 1.
ACHIEVEMENTS
