2. My three favorite assignments from this class has been:
• The self-assessments: This was meaningful to me because it helped me to learn who I was. The
assessment also helped me to realize where I could change some things whether by doing some things
better or not doing something at all. It also made me think about if I am a person who accept personal
responsibility or if I blame others for my shortcomings.
• The scavenger hunt: I was glad to be able to do the scavenger hunt assignment because it helped me
realize where places and/or things might be if I needed access to them. It also helped me to understand
what was available to me as a student. The scavenger hunt was also a good resource for me to use to
search out other resources available.
• Discussion Board – Metacognition: The discussion board on metacognition was also one of my favorite
assignments. It was meaningful to me because it helped me realize some of the difference in study habits.
It also helped me to understand ways on how to be successful by recognizing how my study habits can
affect my learning.
3. • Journal Entry 8: Journal Entry 8 was one of my favorite journals because it helped
me to see the Inner Critic within myself. It also helped me to recognize that there is
an Inner Guide that encourages and speaks the positive results. Knowing that there
is an Inner Guide helps me to maintain my focus on my desired goals.
• Journal Entry 13: This journal entry helped me be aware of my time management. I
was able to determine things that were urgent and needed my time versus things
that weren’t so urgent and could wait. This helped me focus more on the urgent
things and manage my schedule around those to allow more personal time to
complete assignments.
• Journal Entry 11: This was by far my favorite journal entry. This assignment allowed
me to see the result of my success. It also allowed me to visualize the people dear
to me that would help share my special moment. This journal entry made me smile
and encouraged me to continue and get to that ‘celebration’.
My three
favorite
journals
from this
class has
been:
4. I would say I liked Week
3 the best so far because
it allowed to me ‘see’
the outcome of my
work.
5. The 3 lessons I will
carry with me
would be:
Deep processing is
a better tool for
studying then
memorization
To eliminate
distractions
Working toward
mastering self-
management

Score 2: 71

Score 5: 63
Score 6: 69
Score 7: 77
Score 8: 73

I’ve learned that I have
remained responsible for my
own actions. I allowed some
frustration get me off track
and lacked self-motivation in
some areas. I also learned
that throughout it all, I did
learn to believe in myself.
After feeling overwhelmed,
my husband supported me
and encouraged me not to
give up and that made me
change my outlook
completely. From then, I was
reminded to motivate myself
and keep moving forward.
7. From my Grayson Link assignment, I learned that three of my
career paths included Executive Director/CEO, Executive
Administrator, and Director of Religious Activities and
Education. Currently, I am working in the ballpark of Executive
Administrator for a nonprofit which I love. I can see why these
choices were still in my path. I didn’t exactly learn more than
what I already know in these areas, but it was a great tool to
refresh my focus and keep me on path.
8. My best life would be
me opening up my own
Home for
Children/Orphanage
And
A Transitional Living
Home for Families
9. These are a few of the people I would
want there with me. Family and friends.
