Student is used to assess knowledge in a variety of subjects - it’s
easy to use, challenges students to use questioning methods while
being in an authentic learning environment . It is flexible and can be
differentiated depending on students’ grade level and subject areas.

This app made TOP 10 because it is relevant to the common core
standards, feedback is specific for students, higher learning skills it
reinforces are connecting concepts and questioning, it offers flexibility for
the needs of the students, and it provides interesting and authentic
educational videos while being easy to navigate, useful to teachers, and
private for students. Students will be motivated to use this app to gain
greater understanding in an interesting way - especially for those who
learn audibly/visually.

This useful app made our Top 10 - it meets Arkansas state
curriculum standards, gives immediate feedback for activity
amounts, is relevant and useful for authentic environments, while
educating students on healthy activity and eating habits. It’s easy
to use and requires students to apply higher learning skills such as
questioning and connecting concepts.
6. BrainPOP Featured Movie
This app made TOP 10 - it is awesome and has content area for
almost all subjects while reinforcing skills and content knowledge
aligned to common core! Students will be motivated to use this app
- it is free, very secure, and provides good feedback for students to
grow in their knowledge and understanding of the subject with
instructions at their reading levels, and includes subtitles for
students who need the extra visual aid. It enforces higher learning
skills such as making inferences and critical thinking.

TedEd Videos made it to the Top 10 Best Apps because it aligns with
curriculum standards, enforces higher learning skills such as
questioning, connecting concepts, making inferences, and is
extremely user-friendly with engaging videos on all subject areas.
These can be used for discussion starters in the classroom or for
students to go deeper in their understanding on a class subject -
particularly useful for students who learn best audibly and visually.

This World Geography Quiz Game made our TOP 10 apps because
it can easily be differentiated based on skill level and knowledge
being tested - it is easy to navigate, user-friendly and gives
students feedback after each quiz. The skills are connected to
targeted skills in geography, and also encourages problem-solving
and critical thinking. Great app to reinforce skills in Geography
lessons, or for students to use as an outside resource!

This app is AMAZING and easily made our Top 10 apps - provides
real-life authentic problems based on real major supreme court
cases throughout US history - gives students great feedback, is easy
to navigate, and reinforces the higher learning skills of questioning,
connecting concepts, making inferences, problem solving, creative
and critical thinking. It’s aligned to curriculum standards and
student learning objectives, and students will be motivated to win
their supreme court case!

This app made our TOP 10 because it encourages students to use
higher learning skills such as critical thinking and connecting
concepts as they learn about the functions of the human body.
It meets Arkansas standards for human anatomy, while being easy
and intuitive to use.
11. Physiology Animations App
This fun app made our TOP 10 - it encourages students to engage in
critical thinking and connecting concepts through the use of 3D
animations that communicate core physiology! It is very easy to use
and great for teaching anatomy to high school age classes - it also
meets Arkansas state standards for human anatomy.
