Job Responsibilities (Pre tender & Post tender)
 Checking the received drawings with drawing list, Studying the drawing and
documents for tender purpose, quantity take off from the tender drawings and
preparation of BOQ, rate analysis, cost estimation, compiling the finalized tender
quotation and preparing documents for submission.
 Sending enquiries to suppliers and sub contractors for quotation.
 Preparing queries for any discrepancy on the drawings, BOQ and specifications.
 Preparing additional/savings work statements and variation statements for post
tender works.
 Preparing post tender measurements for interim payment.
 Advices on procurement strategy, value management & cost control and
maintaining the awareness of the contract terms & conditions.
 Interaction with Estimation manager, Project Manager and General Manager.
Worked as Quantity Surveyor for INTRADOS, Mangalore a PMC firm, at their
IIMK Calicut site under CPWD (for Yojaka (I) Pvt Ltd) since March 2009 to May
2012
Job Responsibilities (Post tender)
 Quantity Estimation, Billing, preparing monthly invoice.
 Checking of inspection reports & drawings.
 Maintaining the Drawing register, Attending Technical meetings, Measurement
recording in the measurement books, preparing list of procurement of materials.
 Daily programme review, making weekly schedules as per bar chart. Budgeting,
rate analysis on current market rate, making workshop drawing for structural
steelwork, Monitoring working drawings and implementation.
 Co-ordination with Project managers, Management Executives, Vendors,
Engineering Dept., Site inspection agency.
 Making Monthly Plan for Fabrication & Erection of total scope and its allotment to
Sub-contractor, according to their capacity & resources to complete the scope within
time frame at site.
