PROFESSIONAL SYNOPSIS
A qualified Electrical Engineer with more than 3 years of qualitative experience in Design Erection
Commissioning, Maintenance, Operations, Process Enhancement, Value – Engineering, Technical
Support and Systems Implementation in Industry. Worked as an Electrical Engineer in Urea/
Methanol / Ammonium Bi-carbonate Plant Electrical Department with Rashtriya Chemicals &
Fertilizers Ltd. Mumbai India. Had Supervisory and hands on experience in Design, Selection,
Eraction, operation & Maintenance of 11KV, 3.3KV and 415V Electrical switchgear and
equipments. Team leading experience of more than 15 electrical professional including engineers
& technician.
CORE COMPETENCIES
Design & Equipments Selection
o Selection, sizing, installation & commissioning of 11 kV, 3.3kV indoor switchgear for plant
distribution centre.
o Motor control centre (MCC) design for New Project in Urea Plant. Its include load calculation,
Bus Bar sizing, control circuit design for motor DOL starter & Cable selection as per IS (Indian
Standards).
o Transformer selection and sizing for Urea, Methanol and Ammonium Bi-carbonate plant. Its
include 11kV, 3.3kV, 0.415kV load calculation, fault level calculations and relay co-ordinations.
o Variable Frequency Drive panel design and sizing for 90, 160, 200 kW blower motor
applications.
Project Implementation
o 3.3kV distribution centre switchgear project implementation in Urea plant.
o Transformer sizing, installation & commissioning along with 3.3 kV motor control switchgear.
o Installation & commissioning experience of motor control centre, power control centre, Variable
frequency drives and motor starter for chemical process industry.
Technical Support
o Proactively identify the bottlenecks and take steps to rectify the electrical equipments through
application of trouble shooting tools.
o Conducting technical and energy audit studies for plant and equipment performance in
electrical department and schedule predictive / preventive maintenance jobs.
o Undertaking periodic review of operating data and performance of equipments to devise ways
and means to improve the equipment uptime.
o Operation and maintenance of High voltage switchgear, Medium voltage switchgear & low
voltage switchgear, motors, transformers.
o Technical support to team for at various level electrical troubles shooting & improvement
projects.
o Electrical Equipment Mean time between failure (MTBF) analyses.
o Analysis of the faults and rectification of the faults to reduce the downtime of equipment.
o Testing of relays for their timely operations and to replace the faulty relays.

2. Quality / Safety Health & Environment
o Following process for electrical system as per ISO 14001-1996. OHSAS 18001 and QMS
9001-2000.
o Conducting & facilitating various electrical safety audits for increasing safety standards &
working environment.
o Member of internal audits for implementation of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and QMS 9001-
2000. Core group member of ISO-50001-2011 audit team of Urea / Ammonium Bi-carbonate
plant. Preparing the energy baseline data for the equipment and the plant. To identify the
areas for energy conservation and make energy management plans.

o Active member of plant Quality Concepts activity including Quality circle, Kaizen, 5-S.
o Delivering lectures at RCF training centre to technicians for up grading their working
knowledge.

Ammonium Bi-carbonate Plant
RCF Ltd. is India’s largest Chemical & Fertilizer manufacturing company with two units one at Thal
& another at Mumbai (20 operating plants).The turnover of the company is about 600 Billion.
Key Contributions;
o Successfully completed project of Design, selection, installation and commissioning of 3.3kV
switchgear.
o Procurement and preparing technical and commercial specification of electrical equipment and
switchgear (HT as well as LT).
o Planning shutdown and shutdown maintenance jobs.
o Successfully installation of 3650kW Process air compressor motor.
o Standardization and codification of electrical material and equipment.
o Installation, testing and commissioning experience of 6MVA transformer.
o Looking after maintenance of HT and LT transformer
