TNPL
 Involved in Erection, Commissioning activities of Machine Drives of
Siemens make Sinamics Drive S120 up to maximum of 1400 kW.
These drives are connected to the Siemens controller PCS7 via
profibus network.
 Erection and Commissioning of Stand Alone VFD of Vacon Make
and ABB Make.
 Erection and Commissioning of Transformers of max 5MVA
capacity.
 Preparing Electrical layouts of Panels, cable routing and Earthing.
 Project was commissioned within the time frame and running in
maximum capacity.

4. Life Cycle Extension project of Paper Machine#1, TNPL,
INDIA
Life Cycle extension Project work was planned for 28 days of Machine
Stoppage to replace the Dilution Head box, Press part frames, Calender
Loading system and primary & secondary arm in Reel Area.
During this tenure, the existing MCC which was installed during 1985 was
removed, installed and commissioned with new MCC for 109 Equipments.
Power and control cables of all the equipments were renewed and
interconnection between DCS and MCC were completed.
The transformer of 2.0 MVA , 11 KV/433 V rating was removed, serviced,
relocated and commissioned with 3200 Amps Bus Duct connection in the new
MCC area.
Roll Grinding Machine in TNPL
As Plant Engineer, responsible for erection & commissioning and Maintenance
of Roll Grinding Machine. All existing D.C Motors and controls were replaced
with Siemens CNC machine (Sinumerik-840D) controls and servo drives. The
machine bed was re-erected during November 2010 to eliminate chartering marks
and to have smooth roll condition. The Mechanical work was planned for 45 days
with supplier of M/s Alengenbau – SBA, Austria and the electrical work was
carried out by in house team.
Sheet cutter, Reel Handling and Reel wrapping system and
ASRS in TNPL
 I have involved in Installation and commissioning activities of High
speed sheet cutter of 200MT/Day which is supplied by the M/s Pasaban-
Spain. This cutter having latest technology of Sinamics servo Drives and
Simotion Controller D445. Project was commissioned within the time
frame.

5.  Involved in Installation and commissioning activities of PM1&2 Reel
Handling System Which is supplied by the M/s Raumaster – Finland.
System having S7-300 Siemens PLC and Siemens make Drives MM440
which is fully automated and connected via profibus network.
 Involved in Installation and commissioning activities of Automatic
Storage and retrieval system which is supplied by the M/s Pesmel –
Finland. System having S7-300 Siemens PLC and ABB make Drive of
ACS M1 servo drive. These drives are connected via profibus with PLC
(Master). System is fully automatic and controlled by the Ware House
Management system.
 Involved in Installation and commissioning activities of PM3 Reel
Handling System which is supplied by the M/s Trancel systems –
Sweden. System having S7-300 Siemens PLC and ABB make ACS M1
speed controlled drive which is fully automated and connected via
profibus network.
Paper Machine 1& 2 and A4 Sheet Cutter in TNPL
 Maintenance of Paper Machine 1 (850MPM) of ABB make Drives AC
Drives of ACS600 Multi Drive which is controlled through AC80
Controller.
 Maintenance of Paper Machine#2 (1000MPM) of ABB make Drive DC
Drive of Tyrak Midi which is Controlled through AC450 Controller.
 Maintenance of Highly automated Sheet cutters of Beilomatik and ECH
Will make from Germany. These Cutters having Siemens make Servo
Drives and Simotion Controller PLC -D445.
