Human Resources Generalist for 270 bed community based hospital and off site services.
Meets with employees as needed to discuss work related concerns and works with the
employee and/or appropriate management member on resolution.
Collaborates with management to provide guidance regarding employee relations or
disciplinary issues in accordance with relevant HR policies, procedures, laws and
regulations.
Develops and prepares wage and salary offers and changes as required for approval by
the HR Director within established health system compensation program.
Conducts internal wage and salary analyses, reviewing the data and providing input
with regards to possible changes that may be required.
Participates in creating, updating and presenting employee and management training
programs as appropriate (i.e. interviewing skills, FMLA, performance evaluations, etc.)
Reviews applications and resumes to effectively screen applicants based upon the
qualifications outlined in the job description and to ensure the most qualified
candidates are considered and moved to the next step in the recruitment process.
Attends job fairs, career days, and other recruiting events as necessary both internal
and external.
Keeps HR Director and applicable hiring manager informed of any unusual problems or
changes within the employment process. Makes recommendations for resolution of
problems and advises of any needs to reevaluate or modify recruitment process to
ensure objectives are met.
Assists with the creation, review and revision of HR related policies, procedures, and
