1. My research:
Here’s some photographers work that I would like the photos I am going to take to look like:
Peter Watson
who does landscape photography, I like the way he captures what you see whenyou look at a landscapedby this I
meanthe way he does not over edit the photos so they no longer look realistic. I like the composition of his work
because whenyou look at it makes you feellike you are there and that I what you are looking at, I like the lighting
in his photos because he doesn’t add too muchlight when he’s editing them so they look quite natural.

Royna Galka
Who does street portrait photography, I like the way she takes photos of her models in places which are unusual, and
I like the way she brightens all of her photos so that they catchyour eye when you look at them eventhough she
brightens them and makes them look goods she doesn’t ever edit them so that they don’t look real.

2. John Steven
who does equine photography, I like the way the majority of his photos are taken when the horses are in the air I
think they look good, I also like the waythe photos are not over edited they are edited in a waythat it doesn’t look
like they have been changed, I also like how he changes how close up to the horse he takes the pictures.

MarcusCastle
who does Landscape photography, I like the style he take his photos andhow they are edited it makes them look
really nice and it makes the place where they are took look like somewhere you would want to go, the only thing I
don’t like it that he could have takena photo where there would be more in the picture as there isn’t much in each
picture, other than that they are really good photos.

3. Emily Hancock
who does equine photography, I like the way the majority of herphotos are takenin rural places which makes the
photos look really natural and I think they look good, I also like the way the photos are not over edited they look
natural like no effects have beenadded which I what I want some of my equine photos to look like

Neil Redfern
Who does portrait photography in Salford and other are, I like the way he takes photos of couples or people in
Salford in various location of Salford quays, I like the way the photos don’t look forcedlike some portraits do where
the subject look like they are being forcedto smile where as these don’t, hopefully my portrait photos will look
slightly like these as I like the way they have beentaken, I also like how they haven’tbeen edited to muchalthough I
do like photos which are edited in black and white so that I what I am going to do with mine when I take them.

4. Page 69 from the making of landscape by Charlie Waite.
when I looked at this image I like the wayit was takenand the wayit was edited, when I readthis page I learnt
landscape pictures don’t needsky because of the way the trees are and they you should never think that everyimage
needthe sky to be in it, it also saythat out of focus grain does not look the same as edited grain, which will help me
when taking my own photos.

When I looked at the image on this page I like the way it was taken as the manin the photo look like it was taken
whilst the man was looking therefore making it look natural which is what I want my photos to look like, there is a
quote on the page which I like which says ‘street photography is like gambling. You get lucky or you get nothing’.
