Branch Manager (Zambia)- Intermed Pharmaceuticals Ltd
Initial establishment of this firm with all documentation from various Authorities,
as per ZDA ZRA, ZAMRA guidelines for Wholesale Pharmacy, managed entire
staff and operations of the firm. During the tenure, Business Development was
highlighted area and also complete operational management including visits to
medical fraternity.
Other field managed as administration issues with interest including Revenue
Authority, Audit, Administration of firm and Visits of Regulatory Body.
Managed business of Pharmaceutical Drugs, Orthopedic segment development
was amongst key areas touched, participated and managed to implement and win
Tender Business along with private market development.

Business Development Manager – Phillips Pharmaceuticals Rwanda Limited.
Managing the entire Marketing operation of Phillips Rwanda and working with the team
of 7 Medical Delegates designated for various companies like Ranbaxy, Emcure, Dr
Reddy’s Laboratories,Glenmark,Centaur , Prisma, JJPEX. Strategic development of their
Brands through Ethical Promotion to the Medical Faternity and eventually lead to
establishing the branded generics in the Rwanda and also registering the brands in the
Government Insurance Companies.
Also working as representative for Johnson & Johnson Professional Export (JJPEX) –
Ethicon, Codman and Advanced Sterilization process, United Kingdom for Medical
Consumables Products (Sutures & Mesh & Hemostats) and neurosurgical Products. Also
organized basic surgical skill training (BSSC Courses) along with the local surgeon as a
facilitator for a week sponsored By JJPEX for instrumentation and medical consumable
& Royal College of surgeons United Kingdom provided the basic skill presentation.
Also Participating & Preparation, Executing of National & International Tenders after
rewarding processing for all the Hospitals in Rwanda. Also achieved the annual target in
six-month & was awarded by Johnson & Johnson for the achievement.
3. Undergone successful training with JOHNSON & JOHNSON – Ethicon on topics
covering with Surgical Sutures, Surgical Hernia Mesh and Hemostats was rewarded with
the Ethicon certificate for completion of the course.
AWARDS:
1) Achieved Best player of year sales 2009 for achieving targets and growing the
sales by 182% in ETHICON, Johnson & Johnson.
2) Also being awarded as Second prize for ETHICON – Hemostat category for
fastest sales competition in initial 3 months.
March 2007 to Dec 2007:
International Marketing officer – customer service in USV Limited, Mumbai, India
– handling Asian Markets including Middle East, Australia and South Africa.
Responsible for Marketing & Setting up the business and handling the Plant
(manufacturing unit) for sourcing of the Active Pharmaceutical ingredients, (API’s) as of
all the Antidiabetics and generic medicines, also commercially supplying the API’s to the
customers in Asian countries like Pharmaniaga and Hovid- Malaysia, Chiens Trading –
Taiwan, Yung International - South Korea, Takeda Pharmaceutical- Japan, Aspen -
South Africa, Middle East, Tehran Chemie – Iran, Tabuk Pharmaceuticals- Jordan and
Australia.
Dealing with the international customers and promoting of the API’s by sampling them
and sending across the customer in order to increase the sales and achieving business.
