• Presenter of the classical conditioning theory

Classic conditioning
• What is conditioning ?
• Conditioning, in a simple word is programing , to program someone
• Conditioning is a kind of process wherein , to train someone ( could
be animal , could be human) to behave in a particular way , when
some particular thing happen.
• Conditioning is entirely releted with our cognitive.
How classical conditioning discovere.
• Actually , Ivan Pavlov was studying digestive system of a dog
meanwhile he noticed , the dog salivate when see , the plate wherein
food serving to dog. Thus Pavlov thought that there could be another
stimulus.
• Note ; here the plate is unconditional stimulus and the salivation is
unconditional response.
Experiment
• Pavlov kept the dog hungry on experimental table in lab , and
examining from out side of mirror. And fit all devices.
• Note; kept the dog hungry was important , cuz , this service as a drive
•
Step
• 1st step : bell sound ( unconditional stimulus )
• 2nd step : food ( salivation )
• 3rd step : repeat many time , 1st step
• 4th step : bell sound ( salivation ) ( conditional stimulus )
Important terminology
• Neutral stimulus : first bell sound
• Unconditional stimulus : food
• Unconditional response : salivation
• Conditional stimulus : bell sound
• Conditional response : salivation.
Objective
• Behaviorism: our behavior form by environment.
• Habit formation : we can form our habit , in any way as we want.
• Association : we can associate , thing in our mind.
• Flexibility : we aren’t fixed at one point.
