  1. 1. GLOBAL WARMING RESEARCH<br />In this project, students will conduct research on global warming to gain background knowledge and create awareness about the issue.<br />

YOUR FOCUS<br />TO DO: YOU will focus on what can be done in the UK to help the situation by<br /> Designing information leaflet to create more awareness <br />Doing A 4 minutes News Report Presentation <br />Making A PowerPoint Presentation <br />To a group of Scientists, Environmentalist and High Profile Government and UN Officials <br />
  3. 3. GLOBAL WARMING IN THE NEWS <br />Global Warming is in the news all time. You are going to carry out a ‘media watch’ for article about Global Warming or do a News Report or produce an information Leaflet<br />www.sciencetutors.zoomshare.com<br />

THE OBJECTIVE<br />To Investigate the possible future effects of Global Warming. <br />To Gain an understanding of the scientific method and use elements of it to conduct phases of the project.<br />To know how to research, plan, present and publicise facts and findings using appropriate and engaging means.<br />
  5. 5. Assessment <br />Using what they've learned about global warming from research to create awareness campaigning. However student should use the success criteria (next slide) to plan, structure and organise their research presentation materials and all other materials created (including their reflections) over the course of the project. <br />
