Writing Ability: Animals and Their Habitats

Objective: To apply writing skills by analyzing pictures to create different
paragraphs and answering questions using key vocabulary and past simple
tense.
Read the instructions very carefully.
Use black/blue pen or pencil.
Organize your ideas before writing.
1. Look at the following picture. Using the words in the box write a short 8 line
story in past tense. You can add other words seen in class as well. (10 points)
Playing – habitat – parents – water – enormous – ball – fun – sunny –
friends – trees – running – elephant – baby – life – happy – endangered.
Write the story (Use the picture and your imagination):

3. Describe your favorite habitat, why is it your favorite?
