experience with core specialization in areas such as Business
Intelligence, Compensation Design & Administration, Commercial

 Continuously inspire my team to achieve the team vision

 I delegate responsibilities to team members, but have a tendency
to micro manage tasks most of the times
 This tendency, though at times necessary, narrows down the scope
to own up additional responsibilities
 I tend to be over supportive of my team members
 The slight lack of dominance in the team at times promotes
lackadaisical attitude in the team
 Becoming an effective communicator is an area I strive to improve
continuously, and is a key trait that I look to learn from my
leadership team
 I credit people for the success of the work, but tend to remain less
critical when discussing their mistakes
 Being too patient and polishing the feedbacks for mistakes, at
times, deviate ownership from team members
I am confident that IMBA from IE will help refine my leadership
qualities further

Key qualities I admire and seek to learn from a leader… Vision VisionVision A leader should have a clear, exciting idea of where they are going and what they are trying to accomplish Courage A leader should be willing to take risks in the achievement of the goals Strategic Planning A leader should be outstanding at strategic planning, and should have the ability to look ahead and anticipate Inspire A leader should make the team feel invested in the accomplishments of his/her work

Taking risks instigates anxiety that drives my passion to learn more and venture our of comfort  My readiness to take risks inspires my team juniors to think out of box and innovate in the project  When taking risk, I analyse the implications and convince my leadership team with calculated decisions  As I venture out of comfort, I take up challenging assignments that drives me to learn and evolve in my role Take-away: There is no certainty in life or business, every action you take entails a risk of some kind

I spread my passion of work in the team by  Working with every individual to align his/her goals and interests with the overall objective of the team  Being supportive of decisions and actions of the individuals, and providing right guidance when necessary  Seeking guidance from the leadership team when needed  Respecting personal commitments of team members Take-away: People feel invested in the work when the work appeals to their self-interest

Additional leadership qualities that I endeavor to learn… Leadership Style of Ammar  Identify the necessity to Macro or Micro Manage the work  Delegate ownership  Identify additional self and team responsibilities Macro Management  Be supportive of the requirements of the team, at the same time remain dominant when it comes to execution Leadership Approach  Strengthen client relationship by building mutual trust with the client stakeholders  Inspire teams through strong and effectual communication Communication Skills  Evaluate people on their work and provide honest feedbacks  Credit people for success and be critical of the approach in case of failure Evaluative My Characteristics & Areas of Improvement  I delegate responsibilities to team members, but have a tendency to micro manage tasks most of the times  This tendency, though at times necessary, narrows down the scope to own up additional responsibilities  I tend to be over supportive of my team members  The slight lack of dominance in the team at times promotes lackadaisical attitude in the team  Becoming an effective communicator is an area I strive to improve continuously, and is a key trait that I look to learn from my leadership team  I credit people for the success of the work, but tend to remain less critical when discussing their mistakes  Being too patient and polishing the feedbacks for mistakes, at times, deviate ownership from team members
