Tactics:
Research
o I asked members of the wider team where I work, what they would like to know about the listening lab
o I compared the existing Listening Lab site to other sites on the intranet and noted more engaging tactics
that they used
o I read various website designing ‘how to guides’ to find the best way how to update an existing website
o I researched innovative looking sites and noted features that appeared the most engaging
I identified three key questions which were asked and came up with simple answers as a solution
I provided the design team with images of the Listening Lab which were to be displayed on the Listening Lab site
Evaluation:
This website is in its final stages of completion.
Reflection:
I really enjoyed working on this project as it allowed me to be creative and to
work with the in-house designers. I learned a lot about how a website is
created and what features create audience engagement in a website.
