Objective:
 To update an already existing site on
the Listening Lab to increase
engagement and understanding
 To educate a wide range of GSK
employees (that are currently
unreached) on the benefits of using the
Listening Lab
 To increase the amount of reports run
via the Listening Lab
 To aid in expanding the Listening Lab
physically to more global locations
Tactics:
 Research
o I asked members of the wider team where I work, what they would like to know about the listening lab
o I compared the existing Listening Lab site to other sites on the intranet and noted more engaging tactics
that they used
o I read various website designing ‘how to guides’ to find the best way how to update an existing website
o I researched innovative looking sites and noted features that appeared the most engaging
 I identified three key questions which were asked and came up with simple answers as a solution
 I provided the design team with images of the Listening Lab which were to be displayed on the Listening Lab site
Evaluation:
This website is in its final stages of completion.
Reflection:
I really enjoyed working on this project as it allowed me to be creative and to
work with the in-house designers. I learned a lot about how a website is
created and what features create audience engagement in a website.
Type of work: Web design, research and copy
writing
Strategy: To design an engaging website to
answers basic questions about the Listening
Lab. It should also provide a platform for
deeper understanding and future contact
Audience targeted: GSK employees (both
Consumer Healthcare and Pharma)
Involvement: I provided the design team with
ideas, information and images to update the
website with
