1. • The first image was inspired by
Thomas Struth and shows the
symmetrical black and white
streets taken by him. I have
positioned myself in the middle
of the road in order to get
both sides of the image. I have
used the rule of thirds in this
image by making sure the
houses are on both sides.
2. • The second image was also
inspired by Thomas Struth and
this shows a coloured version
of a symmetrical road with
houses on either side
portraying his style of city
photos using natural light
3. • This image was inspired by
Annie Leibovitz who was well
known for photographing
musicians.This portrait capture
of bastille performing at a
festival. I have ensured the focal
point is in the middle of the
image.
4. • This portrait image was
inspired by Steve McCurry
through the use of emotion and
portrait style.This shows the
image being taken using natural
light where the rule of thirds
have been used in order to
have a balance to the image.
5. • This image shows the subject of
the photo being taken and the
use of editing in order to bring
the attention to the colours of
the image.The focal point of
the image is the dog which is
subjected to the centre in
order to focus attention to it.

6. • Steve McCurry’s uses of bold
natural colours shows the bold
attention to detail whilst
capturing the bright colours of
the apples.This image draws
focus to the reader by the
object being the centre of
attention which is used in
McCurry’s pictures
7. • This image of red flowers
shows inspiration to Steve
McCurry through the natural
colours that have grown.These
colours have been edited to
strengthen the colour.This
image uses pull focus to show
the attention to detail on each
part of the flower.
