This quick presentation guides you through the process of live streaming an event. You should already have Google+ and YouTube accounts set up.

1. Using Google Hangouts to
live stream events

2. First, sign in to your YouTube account, and
open your Google+ account from there.
This helps to avoid connection problems.

3. From the drop-down menu on the left
choose "Hangouts"

4. Select "Hangouts OnAir" then "Create a
Hangout OnAir"

5. Choose who you would like to invite to view
the live stream
If you remove the "Public" option it will appear
on YouTube as unlisted, not private.

7. If you want to broadcast a presentation, a
website, or anything else, then leave them
open in another window (not minimised) and
choose Screenshare
