This document provides information on how to use the present perfect simple tense in English. 1. PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE
In this presentation you will learn how to use present perfect
simple and you will be able to produce sentence correctly.
This plant has grown five centimeters in
a week.
2. USES
For actions which happened in the past, but the time is not mentioned exactly.
For actions that happened in the past and their results are obvios in the present.
Examples:
Anna has bought a bunch of flowers.
They have made a cake of chocolate.
We have walked around the park. (we are exhausted)
Adelle has washed her car. (It is clean now)
3. GRAMMATICAL RULES
We form present perfect simple with the auxiliar verb have/ has.
We use verbs in past participle.

Irregular verbs

The past participle of regular verbs is the same
as the past simple, we only add –ed (work-
worked, save-saved).
