4. 1.1. Introduction:
There are five basic needs in the human life. Housing is one of those and it is very essential for
every people. Real Estate Industries are working to provide residence for those people who
would like to buy apartment to leave in a luxurious and peaceful condition. Besides, this industry
also has created a large number of jobs in the job market. Thousands of backward linkage
industries such as: Brick, Sand, Ceramic, Sanitary wears industry etc. have set up on the base of
real estate industries. So, it is playing a great role in our national economy as it has a huge
impact on the country’s revenue collection. There is about five hundred real estate Companies in
our country. All the companies are not well recognized by the people. Many of the companies do
not fulfill their commitment. Unfortunately many of the people have lost their faith on few
developers. To satisfy those people Carnival Homes Ltd. has taken the challenge and trying to do
the best. Carnival Homes Ltd. is one of the fast growing Real estate Company. It is very new in
the Real Estate market but I have found that the people behind it are very experienced and
professional. In this internship report I have tried to go through a total look at the overall Real
Estate business in Bangladesh and then I have started work at Carnival Homes Ltd. to make the
report better informative and meaningful. So that the readers will able to get a simple idea about
the sector’s history, nature and style of business, services etc including a live example of a well
known company that is Carnival Homes Ltd.
1.2. Rationale for Selecting the Report:
It is great pleasure for me to do my internship in a reputed organization like CHL. Though my
practical exposure in CHL for just three months. It provides me a wide range of scope to observe
the different functions of the farm through the cordial assistance of its members. I have
opportunity of observing the activity of all the departments. I worked mainly in the front line.
The affiliation report will also hopefully be useful for the department of business
administration of AIUB.

professionals to work under its competent management. Quality professionalism and
commitment makes success in real estate business that is the thing which CHL believe. After
stated its journey in 2007. It now has become highly acclaimed and widely accepted name in real
estate business it has got in house skilled professionals having experience for long days who are
able to provide the most efficient space utilization and architectural aesthetic solution CHL
cordially welcomes its potential buyers to visit its office of the project side before taking any
decision Carnival home would like to express its deep gratitude to all related to the company for

1.3.1 Departments at CHL:
CHL have the reputation as a reliable real estate company that has been created through the hard
work and dedication of its work force. Instead of just stressing on good academic qualification
which is compulsory for the executive level employees, CHL has selected its staff based on their

 Administration and Logistic - CHL has a professional & highly skilled Administration
team to co-ordinate all departments of the company. Permanent maintenance personnel
ensure that the apartments are in good condition.
 Accounts and Finance - CHL has an experienced team in this department headed by
senior most cost and management accounting professionals of Bangladesh.
 Sales, Marketing and Customer Service - One of the strongest point of CHL is it
efficient Customer Service Department. This department gives personal attention to each
client. A warm, friendly atmosphere is created for the client who can make purchase
decisions at his/her pace without feeling pressurized.

6.  Engineering & Design -CHL has developed in house design team for architectural,
structural, planning & electrical design. CHL has their own engineers in construction and
development team in addition to its Quality Control, Monitoring & Evaluation.

The ultimate objective of the study is to gain real life exposure in the Real Estate & Housing
sector get a clear idea about various facts related with CHL.
