Excess of alcohol, work,
drugs or eating when
bored, to avoid
emotions and to deal
with access energy.
An all or nothing
attitude in life- winner
or loser with zero
compromise.
Lack of ability to accept
or review new
information when in
conflict.
Inability to see personal
limitations and accept
associated emotional
pain.
Desire to exact revenge
in response to feelings
of anxiety and
vulnerability.

Desire in
Life
The desire to protect oneself.
The desire for self-protection, results
in a life of constant conflict or testing
the fairness of authority figures,
with no room for vulnerability.
5. Type 8: Self-Image
A strong, assertive and
direct individual, what
you see is what you
get.
A resourceful action-
orientated leader,
adept at protecting the
downtrodden.
A persistent and
tenacious person, with
great commitment and
ability to see projects
through to the end.
6. Type 8: Childhood
• Feel that they were dominated physically and/
or emotionally in their family unit and felt
helpless as a result.
• They were often rejected and criticised for
appearing or acting weak in the face of stress
or adversity.
• They responded to the domination and the
rejection, by confrontation and conflict. They
continue this pattern in life to avoid feeling
vulnerable.
7. Type 8:
Result of
Imbalanced
Personality
They have an unrelenting desire for
every aspect of their life to be in excess,
energetic and intense.
They will drive with consuming force of
will, their careers, their relationships and
any other aspect they are focused on.
They may overindulge in pleasurable
activities like alcohol, sex, eating and
exercise.
