2. Capnodium:
 Capnodium is a genus of sooty moulds in the family Capnodiaceae.
 It was circumscribed in 1849 by french mycologist
Camille Montagne with Capnodium salicinum as the
type species.

5. SYMPTOMS:
 Black encrustation is formed on leaves, flowers, stem and fruit.
 Mycelium is superficial and lives on the sugary secretion of the
plant hoppers.
 Photosynthetic ability is reduced which results in reduced fruit set
and fruit fall.

Stemphylium solani is a plant pathogen fungus in the phylum
Ascomycota.
It causes grey leaf spot in tomatoes and leaf blight in Alliums and
Cotton.
Symptoms include white spots on leaves and stems that progress to
sunken red or purple lesions and finally leaf necrosis.
