This is what the back of the Allworx 6x and 6x12 look like. If you have any familiarity with other phone systems you will notice that it is extremely compact with few connections . The key part to this picture is that there is a single connection from the server to the Local Area Network. If you compare this to an older telephone system that has many connections to all the different cards and phones you can see that our system is very easy to install. We won’t review in detail all the connectors, but you will see the connections for the 6 FXO ports to connect the telephone lines and the 2 FXS ports for devices like fax machines and cordless phones - and Paging and music on hold.
Lastly there is a reference guide to all the features and how to use them so training new employees is easy.
Allworx Advanced Features save you time and effort with group calendaring, Call Assistant Software, Call Queuing and much more. Call details report is available and can be exported to MS Excel for further analysis. All phones ring when a caller is in queue, first one to answer gets the call. Phones can answer multiple queues. VPN: Use the VPN software to access Allworx remotely and get full functionality (email, calendaring, shared files, etc.) VPN is PPTP- based. There is a one time license fee for up to 16 simultaneous users.. VoIP via WAN: Is a software key that enables multi-site connectivity and remote phone capability via VoIP phones using SIP protocol. With VoIP via WAN multi-site calling does not require ITSP service. It is needed to connect the Allworx system to an ITSP.

Clicking on the tabs will lead to screens dedicated to Auto Attendants, Call Queues, Parked calls, Call monitors, active call and favorites. Directory: The directory displays all users currently configured in the Allworx system with extension number and color indicating current status. Task Bar: All key calling functions are conveniently placed at the top of the screen and can be accessed through either mouse or keyboard commands.
