Role purpose
I was managing production teams across the workshop, in line with established standards
of performance. I identified and solved all problems affecting production i.e
schedules,staff,quality,tooling, stripping, sub assembly, final assembly etc.

Role purpose

meetings as well as being the Field service team leader.

Effectively represented the interest of Sulzer with end users, contractors and
vendors at different sites and/or local area, as appropriate.
Supervised the field service team on their performance to service clients by repairs,
inspections, and training of site personnel to Sulzer standards on pumps on site.

Career Milestones.
Supervised and implemented several water and sewerage extension and
improvement projects such as:
o Reconnection of the terminated 10” (NB250mm) to 16” (NB400mm) to 10”
(NB200mm) rising main pipeline from the Nkana water and sewerage
company Ndeke reservoir up to the Kitwe – Ndola dual carriage way. Laying
of an 8” (NB200mm) pipeline from that point to extend to the SOS Children’s
village and Luangwa compound in Kitwe, Zambia for the supply of treated
water to these areas.
o Diverting water and sewerage pipelines from the No.4 Shaft lay down area at
Konkola Copper mines Konkola mine as part of the Konkola Deep Mine
Project (KDMP) implementation.
o Installation of new 6” (NB150mm) water mains, (1,600 metres long) and 6”
(NB150mm) sewerage mains (800 metres long) to service the Konkola Deep
mine Project infrastructure.
o Execution of several water and sewerage improvement project in Kitwe and
Chililabombwe.
Alignment and commissioning of Sulzer Alhstar process pumps on the phase two
expansion project at Tenke Fungurume mine site in the Democratic Republic of the
Congo – 83 off.
Modification of Sulzer Alhstar process pumps bases to suite new motors, alignment
and commissioning on the phase two Tenke Fungurume expansion project in the
Democratic Republic of the Congo – 4 off.
