Yokogawa Centum VP,
• PLC System: Hands on experience with PLCs of makes Siemens S5 & S7, Allen Bradely
SLC 500 and Mitsubishi FX1N,Honeywell FSC, HIMA
• Compressor Control System: Hands on experience in Honeywell UDC6000, Yokogawa
US1000 & 1700 and CCC series-3 anti-surge & Speed controllers.

4. Responsibilities:
1. Directly participates in planning maintenance, repair, overhaul & calibration of all
instrumentation and control system of production units.
2. Plans for spare parts, materials and shutdown work. Raises material requisitions in order
to maintain spares stock at the required levels to meet routine and breakdown repairs.
3. Properly plans and carries out major overhauls, annual calibration and breakdown repairs
of all instrument equipments as per schedule in order to make sure that plant down time is
minimal to prevent production loss.
4. Prepares, reports of major inspections / annual inspections and breakdown repairs,
detailing procedures followed, tasks undertaken, inspection findings, remedial work
carried out and outstanding jobs.
5. Raises Cold work & hot work permit as required. Acts as area performing authority for
cold work permits and hot work permits for the implementation of work permit.
6. Carries out regular visual checks of the plant to ensure all housekeeping and safety issues
are continuously attended. Familiar with safety regulations relating to instrument
installations in the process industries.
7. Maintains calibration records and certificates of Test Equipments and calibration history
and calibration data and findings of process critical loops, to support and validate any
process shutdowns and incidents.
8. Prepares daily and monthly activity reports for submission to Maintenance department.
Support production department during startup and shutdown of the production facilities.
Special Information:
o Understands loop control diagram / control system logic diagram /
Instruments arrangement diagram and normal wiring diagrams.
o Carries out loop control tests, interlocks test and sequence functional tests.
o Carries out Pre-commissioning tests of instruments and controls.
