2. In order to expand my series to a wider audience, I’ve employed the use of
social media, mostly Facebook, to advertise the series long before the final
product is actually released. This includes detailed descriptions of the
characters, posters, music, trailers and more. Through the method of getting my
actors linked on facebook and having them share and redistribute all these
products. I’ve managed to gain a fair amount of followers and hype behind the
final project. Including a good chunk of the film-making community around
London, thanks to Olivia Maiden’s association with the project and her previous
experience in other short films. This method was a success. As I’ve seen a large
spike of interest in my YouTube channel and have had several filmmakers and
actors proclaim their excitement for the series when it releases. I’m going to
keep this up when I release the product. Releasing one episode a week every
Monday from the 24th of June, in order to keep the audience interested. I’ll be
premiering these episodes on YouTube well in advance of their release.
