• Script Return - Allows review and analysis of performance.
• Remark - Script will be remarked. Could result in positive, no or
negative change. If marks change sufficiently to award a
new grade no charge is applied.

September 2012.

9. Repton VI Form Applications
Course options in the VI Form include;
IB Diploma
IB Certificate
Repton Diploma
IB Diploma Programme
• A minimum of 6 IGCSE grades at B or above are required to gain entry on to the IB Diploma.
• This year we are introducing Subject specific requirements for study at particular levels.

IB Certificate
• Pupils can select up to 6 subjects of study at any level.
• A Certificate is awarded for each subject.
• Recognised mainly in US, but not widely accepted by Russell Group universities in the UK even
though UCAS points awarded depending upon the level gained.
Repton Diploma (New this year)
• Pupils study a qualification in Hospitality Management (worth up to 240 UCAS points) alongside up
to 3 IB Certificate subjects (HL worth up to 130 UCAS points, SL worth up to 70 UCAS points).
• Combined with EE, CAS, TOK.

10. Repton VI Form Applications
Pupil Interviews
All new Year 12 students will be interviewed as part of the Repton VI
Form Induction Programme.
During the interview the following aspects will be considered and
confirmed.
• Course Applied (IB Dip, Repton Dip, IB Cert)
• Subject Choices
• Level of Study (SL / HL)
Students wishing to adjust their original application will be able to do so
at this time.
11. IGCSE Certificates
IGCSE certificates are sent by the examination boards to Repton
School Dubai approximately 10 weeks after the publication of the
examination results.
We expect them to arrive at the beginning of November 2012.
For collection, or to make arrangements for certificates to be
posted internationally, please see the finance office (D Block)
directly.
