(Section III - Short Response Questions)
The following questions are short response questions which have a word limit of
250 words. This means that there is no minimum word count, but rather a maximum
of 250 words. You should articulate what you need to with maximum efficiency and
in as compact as possible. Quality over quantity.
2.1) Briefly describe the process you would go through when buying a firearm,
from any research you might do to what actions you must take once you purchase
the firearm.
Well first of all I would be sure that I have a gun license and I am allowed to
buy that type of gun first then I look it up online ask my friends if it is a
good gun or no then I go and try it for myself at a shooting range and If I like
it then I will buy it and after I buy It then I register it to my name.
2.2) You and your friend decide to go hunting, you both have your permits, and
your friend has their Tier 2 licence. He hands you his automatic AR-15. What do
you do? And why?
First I would tell my friend no because it is against the law to have a gun not
for you Tier and even shot it so I would return it back to my friend telling him
that when I get my Tier two license to then maybe I will get it for a try.
2.3) Define self defense in your own words.
Self defense is when someone is assault me with another weapon then I am allowed
to withdraw mine and if the assaulter doesn't have a gun I am going to use my
fists self defense can be a act to protect my own property from a robber self
defense would be defending yourself from being threatened or attacked by someone
and then fighting back.
2.4) One of the gun safety rules is to "always treat a gun as if though it were
loaded." What does this mean, and why is this important?
That means that even if you are sure your gun unloaded you still need to double
check it and not point it to anyone because a accident might happen. And to make
sure you have your gun unloaded you need to Point the Firearm in a Safe
Direction ,Remove All Ammunition (Magazines etc) ,Observe the Chamber ,Verify
the Feeding Path is Clear ,Examine the Bore for Obstructions
2.5) There are four universal gun safety rules. One of them was given to you in
the previous question, what are the other three and why are they significant?
1- Control the Muzzle Direction at ALL Times
2- Trigger Finger MUST be Kept Off the Trigger Until Ready to Fire
3- See that the Firearm is SAFE Before Handling, Transferring, or Storing
(Section IV - Long Response Questions)
The following questions are long response questions and have no word limit.
However, these questions do have a minimum word count requirement of 120 words.
Failure to meet this requirement will result in immediate failure of this
section, and subsequent failure of the overall assessment.
3.1) What circumstances do you believe are appropriate for a firearm to be
drawn? Should you shoot to injure? If not, what should you do and why? Give an
example of what might happen if you make an incorrect decision.
Firstly I would shoot to kill because if I would shoot to injure for example my
targets arm I might miss and it might end up hurting someone witch it can end
with someone dying or someone really injured and my license would get revoked
and I would go to jail and lose my career that is why I need to pull my gun only
when me or my assets are in danger of bodily harm from a felony e.g armed
robbery or homicide because things might get bad and out of hand pretty quickly
that is why it needs to be done quickly because more than one person can get
hurt and If I shoot to kill only one person will get hurt and that is the law
breaker.
3.2) While walking along the Los Santos downtown, you hear a commotion coming
from a nearby alleyway, upon further inspection you notice that a woman is being
robbed at gunpoint. The woman has her hands up and is complying with the thief,
and the thief is about to make a run for it after having stolen her valuable
possessions. You have a CCWP and are carrying a sidearm with you, what would you
do? Why?
Firstly I would stay out of the sight I would start calling the police and after
the thief leaves I would go to the women and If I would have entered with my gun
open the thief might get scared and potentially fire his gun and that might end
up with someone getting really hurt the situation would be better for the Police
Department to handle it because If I get in I would even make it worse for the
woman who is getting robbed because she is complying with him and If I could I
would have started recording from far away where I can not be seen on a corner
and the Police would have it easier to catch the thief and no one would get
hurt.
3.3) A long time friend recently found out that you just acquired your
concealed-carry weapons permit. He is excited and wishes that you take him out
to the range with you. You comply and you both go shooting at a local ammu-
nation shooting range. After leaving the range and getting home, you notice that
the firearm you lent to your friend at the range is missing. What should you do?
Was there anything wrong with this scenario to begin with?
Firstly I would not lend my friend my own gun because he doesn't have a permit
for it then when we were at the shoot range I would just show him how to shoot
and only I would try the gun and he would only see me shooting and then we would
get out and if he would be sad about it I would tell him that he should apply
for one then after he has a license we could go together to range and we could
both try it. Then what would I do if my weapon would be missing firstly I would
notify the police and report the gun stolen then I would tell them everything of
what happened and how I was with my friend and tell the truth.
When purchasing a new firearm, every owner must register every firearm they
possess. The registry can be found here - http://pd.owlgaming.net/viewforum.php?
