3. ● William Wordsworth :
● He was famous for his criticism and
poetry.
● Wordsworth published his Lyrical
Ballads (1798) written with Coleridge,
this work credited english romantic
movement.
● As poet of nature and children. Most
famous line of him is
“ the child is father of the man”
● Wordsworth gave expression to
inchoate human emotion.

● This work has been seen as
the birth place of English
Romanticism.
● We can find that three main

-Nature and his connection to humanity makes an
appearance in the vast majority of Wordsworth's poem.
- Nature is a kind of religion in which he has almost faith.
-‘ Come forth into the light of things
let nature be your teacher’.
● His famous nature poem :
- Daffodils,
- The education of nature,
- Trintern Abbey,
- The prelude.

7. ● The power of human mind :-
● The power of human nature is extremely
important for Wordsworth.
● The poem like :
- ‘Line composed a few miles above trintern Abbey’
- Resolution and independence (1807 )
● Life of ordinary man :
● He talks about farmers, shepherds and rural poor
who lived with nature.
● Example : Solitary Reaper.
