The study aimed to determine the relationship between
the level of digital literacy, level of instructional competency
and the extent implementation of spiral progression approach
in teaching science as manifested by the Junior High School
Science teachers in Ilagan City during the S.Y. 2022 – 2023.
Specifically, the study aimed to answer the following
questions:

1. What is the profile of Junior high school teachers in terms
of;
1.1 Age
1.2 Level of Education
1.3 Years of Teaching
1.4 Specialization
1.5 Trainings and Seminars Attended
1.6 Faculty Rank
1.7 Monthly Salary
2. What is the level of digital literacy of the
respondents in terms of;
2.1 Understanding digital practices
2.2 Finding information
2.3 Using information, and
2.4 Creating information
3. What is the level of instructional competency of the
respondents in terms of;
3.1. Knowledge of Curriculum
3.2. Integration of Technology to Teaching
4. What is the extent of implementation of the spiral
progression approach manifested by the secondary
teachers of Ilagan City?
5. Is there a significant relationship between the level of digital
literacy and the extent of implementation of spiral
progression approach as manifested by the junior high
school science teachers?
6. Is there a significant relationship between the level of
competency and the extent of implementation of spiral
progression approach as manifested by the junior high
school science teachers?
7. Is there a significant relationship between the level of digital
literacy and extent of implementation of spiral progression
approach when grouped according to profile?
8. Is there a significant relationship between the level of
