Job Description:
Since Dec 13 : Kamineni Steel & Power India Pvt Ltd As purchase head Reporting to C.F.O. & M.D.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Material Planning, Sourcing & Vendor Development .
• Evaluation of vendors by facilitating the technical evaluation with quality team and then select the
vendors in most cost effective manner and finalize the Contracts.
• Ensure procurement for the raw materials as per the production schedules.
• Verification of invoices on freight and materials.
2. • Ensure the payment commitments with outside parties are met by coordinating with finance and division
coordinators.
• Ensure disposal of redundant scrap and as well as non moving / slow moving inventory.
• Issue resolution and complaint handling with internal customers as well as suppliers.
• Responsible for store and inventory management at Plant Operations, coordinate with corporate

• Conduct reorder level review, inventory reduction initiatives and institute procedures for the proper and
accurate receipt, storage and issue of items.
• Cost reduction and improvement of value Engineering.
• Monitor commercial terms for CAPEX, including building and construction and pattern equipment.
