June 2012 to present Ingersoll Rand (Trane) (Manufacturing Engineer)
• Applied principles of Lean Manufacturing throughout the Evaporator Coil Area to
reduce cost and improve efficiencies and profits.
• Submitted Expense and Capital requests for cost reductions, process
improvements, equipment updates and rebuilds.
• Control and reduction of scrap, waste and processing costs.
• Statistical analysis and improvements in process and testing methods and
standards.
• Provide engineering support through cross functional teams on new product
introductions, dealing with all phases from conception through product launch.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to insure the highest quality in a
drive towards zero defects and 100% on time delivery.

February 2012 to May 2012 Thermo King (Contract Maintenance / Engineer)
• Daily maintenance issues, of a Transportation HVAC Manufacturing Plant.
• Assist the local and corporate Engineering group with the dismantling, shipping and
relocation of equipment, preparing for the plant closure.
• Supervise and assist Mechanical and Electrical contracts disconnecting and
dismantling of equipment.
April 2010 to January 2012 Washington County Machine Shop (Quality Control Mgr.)
• Primary duties from April 2010 to August 2010 serve as Project
Engineer of a new assembly line at the Thermo-King plant located in Louisville Ga.
• Prepare bids/quotes using blueprints, scopes of work and walk throughs.
• Insure supplies and equipment is delivered to job sites on time.
• Assist Superintendents and Foreman with daily duties.
• Prepare for and obtain reaccredidation for Boiler and Pressure Vessel construction
and repair. (ASME)

• Assisted with the erection of several steel structures installed in the Valspar Plant,
Covington Ga.

• Assisted with the electrical controls portion of a new assembly line being installed in
the Trane Plant, Monterey Mexico.

2001 – December 2010
Maintenance Superintendent, Rheem Manufacturing Company
• Managed two Maintenance Supervisors and 35 hourly union employees over three
shifts.
• Responsible for all facets of Maintenance in a 700,000 square foot air conditioning
and heating unit production plant.
• Applied principles of Lean Manufacturing throughout the facility to reduce cost
and improve efficiencies and profits.
• Accountable for maintenance costs within departmental budgets.
• Submitted Expense and Capital requests for cost reductions, process improvements,
equipment updates and rebuilds.
• Purchased parts and Coordinated with suppliers for timely delivery of materials to
complete projects on time.

• Worked with other Rheem Facilities on location, in South Carolina and Mexico to
